The idea for age gap novels come to me nearly daily. Growing up in the later 80s and early 90s had me exposed to age gap CLASSICS (heh) like The Crush (Alicia Silverstone), Lolita, Poison Ivy (Drew Barrymore) and so much more. So ideas for taboo dynamics are continually ping ponging around my head.

I wrote this one with healing in mind.

I lost my dad, too, so stories of loss and grieving sadly come more naturally to me.

Cordelia has lost her dad. I can relate to that. I also had just watched my favorite Bond movie, and felt like connecting the two for sake of metaphor may be fun.

It took me a week to write this and I also wrote it while I was building out my recording room at home, thus the heroine becoming a narrator. There are only so many hours you spend on a project before you go, yep, this is going in the book! Haha
